Where can I find your current class schedule?
We do not post a schedule of classes because we adjust classes each year based on our enrollment. This allows us flexibility to meet the needs of our dancers. We also prefer to be involved in placing each child in the appropriate class, ensuring the best fit for each dancer.
What does my child need to wear for class?
Dancers are expected to wear fitted dancewear (i.e. leotards, tights, leggings, etc.) and should not wear anything long or baggy. Wearing the proper clothing allows for evaluation of the dancers' movements and technique. Hair should be secured back and away from their face.
When do classes start?
Classes begin September 16th, 2024.
How much are classes?
Please see our payment options above. Please note: All dancers perform in our Showcase in May. There will be a costume purchase necessary, per class. Costumes cost about $95 on average. Dancers may also need specific tights and shoes for their performance.
If I miss a class, can I get a refund or do make up classes?
There are no refunds or credits for class absences or canceling enrollment. We are happy to provide class options to make up absences. Make up classes do not count towards perfect attendance.
Do you offer discounts?
Class discounts are offered at 2 classes or more. The second enrolled class is $55 per month, and any enrolled class thereafter is $40 per month (this is per child or per family).
Can parents observe classes?
Normally, yes, one week a month we offer observation for classes. Please see our Fall Newsletter for the current Observation Schedule.
What if class times conflict with another sport or club?
We are happy to work with our dancers to allow them the opportunity to participate in their commitments outside of dance as best we can. Please do not hesitate to speak with Kelly in regards to any short term conflicts throughout the year.
How late into the year do you accept new students?
This is truly handled case by case. It can depend on the age and experience of the dancer, class sizes, costume availability, etc. It has never hurt to ask! In most cases, we are able to accommodate through December.
Can dancers enroll in classes without performing in the recital?
Sure!
Does the dance recital require a huge commitment?
Our recital takes place over three days. We hold a Thursday night Dress Rehearsal where we run through the entire show in full costume. During Dress Rehearsal, the dancers may leave whenever their performance is complete. We also hold two Showcases, where we perform the same show both days. Dancers must stay for the entire show including finale, both days.
Are specific colored dance shoes required?
Throughout the dance year, the color of the shoes does not matter. All dancers must have the appropriate colored shoes, as well as the proper colored tights, for the showcase. This information is sent a few months prior to our showcase.
